BETA release is approaching, let's make sure we've tested everything!

Areas of special interest:

 - power management
   - sleep and wake
   - hibernate and resume
 - function keys
 - desktop performance 
   - application load times
   - any mouse stuttering and X11 freezes?
 - any hardware issues
   - slow wifi
   - things that should work don't
